Pastor 7
7 Bridges was founded by Pastor 7. Since he was ten years old, he had been a runaway and homeless person. However, God once spoke to 7 and assured him that He would never abandon him. 7 gave his life to God at that same instant, but he had no idea who this God was. God told him that once he knew Jesus, he was no longer who he had been and was a new creation, full of Christ. The name was derived from the fact that 7 is the number of completion.
In 2008, 7 Bridges to Recovery officially became a 501c3 non-profit, and thanks to one man's obedience, hundreds of lives have been impacted and changed!
Scriptures By Pastor 7
The seven verses listed below were provided to Pastor 7 to help lead and direct us toward a closer relationship with Christ and receive the Spiritual Recovery that we all require.
1) Hearing the Word of GOD-
John 10:27
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
2) Making the Commitment to Recovery-
Deuteronomy 30:19-20
I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death; and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”
3) Shedding the Past-
Philippians 3:13-14
Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
4) Pursuing God’s Will-
Romans 12:1-2
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
5) Walking the Valleys of Recovery-
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
6) Healing Through Serving-
Isaiah 58:6-8
“Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.
7) Claiming Victory-
1 Corinthians 15:56-57
The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
